Nestled in the quaint village of Bere Alston, this charming cottage offers a solid blend of comfort and accessibility. With its proximity to shops and local attractions, we found it a practical choice for exploring the gems of Devon. The hosts provided a thoughtful welcome pack, featuring milk and chocolate, which made us feel right at home from the start. The property was equipped with essential amenities, including a dishwasher and washing machine, convenience we greatly appreciated during our stay. The garden was a notable highlight, perfect for our pet to explore without worry, as it was securely enclosed. Parking was straightforward, with a designated space and additional options available nearby. Although the main entrance had steep steps, the option to load and unload directly at the front was convenient. A flat-screen TV and complimentary Wi-Fi kept us entertained and connected. This cottage strikes a commendable balance between cost and luxury, providing everything needed for a home away from home while remaining budget-friendly. Would gladly recommend for a relaxed getaway in beautiful Devon.
